This lantern is marked for the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. This lantern was likely mid to late teens. The globe is a red unmarked globe. This lantern has the typical illegible “Pat’d 1908” mark. My guess is that E.T.W made so many railroad lanterns the tooling would become worn down, leading to that stamping becoming illegible. I’ve noticed that quite often on E.T. Wright lanterns.
