I’m not sure what model number or years these lanterns were produced. I assume 1920-1926 when the 1926 patent models came out. Likely this model is the no.15 like the earlier models, but I do not have confirmation of that yet. It has bail locks almost identical to Adlake lanterns.
This Canadian Pacific Railway lantern displays all the hallmarks of a later produced lantern. The CPR lettering and the “Pat’d 1908” mark are faint and hard to make out. As I mentioned with my GTP lantern, this was likely due to the tooling become worn down after being used to make so many lanterns.
