E.T. Wright & Co. Grand Trunk Railway Bell Bottom

This is the earlier style of tin-top E.T.W. railway lanterns. Likely later 1890s-1903. It has the original globe from that era with strong casting on the GTR and extremely deep purple tint. The tint is caused by manganese in the glass turning purple because of UV exposure from sunlight. E.T.W. globes were made with manganese glass and often have a purple tint.
