Keystone Casey Canadian Northern Ontario Railway

The Keystone Lantern company existed from around 1903-1930’s. Their most popular lantern was the “Casey”. The Casey has one of the most unique wick adjusters. To raise and lower the wick the user twists a knob on the bottom of the lantern. This lantern is one of my favourite railway lantern designs. The look of it is just fantastic.

The Canadian Northern Ontario Railway was a division of the Canadian Northern Railway. The Canadian Northern Ontario Railway ran from Toronto north to Parry Sound and continued north from there to Sudbury.
