This lantern was made by the Keystone Lantern Co. for the Pennsylvania Railroad. This model of lantern was called the Casey. Casey’s are definitely one of my favourites, which is why I picked up this lantern. The wick adjuster on the Casey is at the bottom of the twist off fount. This was an advertised safety feature, because the wick could be adjusted without taking the fount off the lantern.
This lantern also has an etched PRR keystone logo on a Macbeth Pearl Glass globe. Macbeth was a Glass maker who made a lot of railroad globes.
