1910 Banner Cold Blast

In 1910, Ontario Lantern and Lamp redid their Banner design, resulting in this lantern. Advertised to have: New Lift, New Air Chamber, New Screw Cap, New Handle, New Guard, New Tubes. It was pretty much a full redesign of their lanterns. Admittedly, it’s a stunning lantern and fantastic burner. Only issue is the “Automatic Lift Lock” design is broken, a common problem for this design. I have seldom come across intact locks.

The globe is the original ‘Improved Banner” globe. I always found it odd how the logo on the globe never matched the logo on the lantern.
