1893-95 Climax Lift

This lantern was the last lantern made by Ontario Lantern to use the classic pull ring design used by Ontario Lanterns predecessors for a long time. This lift was a staple of Canadian lanterns for a long time and was even used by Buhl Stamping Co. in Detroit.

These early climax lanterns also came with ornate fuel caps, some of the only lanterns I’ve seen with these beautiful fuel caps.
