1895-1900 Climax Lift

This model of Climax took over the previous pull ring style of climax, and was made until they switched to an outside crank variation. This model appears to be the most common variation of the Climax lantern.

This particular lantern has a bit of an interesting story. It came from the set of the nickelodeon TV show “Star Falls”. When the show was cancelled, I was able to pick up this lantern from the set auction. I find it amazing how a lantern from the 1890s ended up on the set of a kids TV show.
