Other Types of Globes
E.T. Wright made a few other types of globes that aren’t Hot blast or Rubber Crystal globes, these are mostly just other model names and special orders.
Wrightlight
When the No.3 short globe was orignally released, E.T. Wright went by the Wrightlight name. These globes were supplied in earlier short globe lanterns for the first couple years or so.
Military Contract Globes
In the 1920s, E.T. Wright had a contract with the Canadian Military to supply them with No.4 lanterns, I’m lucky enough to have one, which you can see here. These globes were supplied in them, I would assume because the military wanted them to be without branding on the glass? These globes just have ‘Made In Canada’ across the top.
